Services Offered
Athens Behavioral Medicine is now offering same day Urgent Care Mental Health Services. Urgent Mental Health crises include (but are not limited to):

Moderate to severe anxiety with panic attacks.

Severe depression with suicidal ideation.

Acute psychotic symptoms including hallucinations.

Episodes of hypomania or mania.

Negative reactions to psychiatric medications.

Mild self-harm, not requiring stitches.
All Patients are welcome! They do not need to be an established patient at Athens Behavioral Medicine. Upon arrival, patients will be asked to fill out intake paperwork and provide a copy of their insurance card. We are in network with BCBS PPO, Humana, Medicare, Aetna, Meritain, and Self-pay payers. Once the initial paperwork is complete they will be seen by one of the providers in a timely manner. Please call the office to set up an appointment in advance at (706) 316-1908.
