Elizabeth Hurley Clement,
Elizabeth Hurley Clement has earned Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner and is currently working toward gaining additional Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rockhurst University/Research College of Nursing in Kansas City, MO, and a Master of Science in Nursing with distinction from United States University in San Diego, CA.
Elizabeth has years of hospital experience in cardiac, obstetric, gynecological, and pediatric nursing. Observing patients struggling with depression in the hospital setting and seeing the staggering rates of mental illness among the population in family practice with few resources created in her a strong desire to serve patients seeking psychiatric treatment. Elizabeth continues to pursue post-graduate education to enhance her understanding of psychiatric conditions to provide better care for her patients.
Elizabeth is also a graduate of Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, GA, and the University of Missouri in Kansas City, MO, where she received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music in Violin Performance. She lives in Athens with her husband and five children. They are members of Faith Presbyterian Church where they enjoy serving on the music team and participating in various church activities. Elizabeth’s interests include spending time with her family, music, being creative, traveling, working out, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
