Elizabeth Hurley Clement,
Elizabeth Hurley Clement is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with additional Board Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rockhurst University/Research College of Nursing in Kansas City, MO, and a Master of Science in Nursing, With Distinction, from United States University in San Diego, CA.
Elizabeth joined ABM in 2021 with years of hospital experience in cardiac, obstetric, gynecological, and pediatric nursing. Observing patients struggling with depression in the inpatient setting and seeing the staggering rates of mental illness among the population in family practice with few resources created in her a strong desire to serve patients seeking psychiatric treatment. Elizabeth is passionate about serving these patients by utilizing her knowledge in both fields of Family Medicine and Psychiatry to provide a more holistic approach to their care. She continues to pursue additional education, enhancing her understanding of psychiatric conditions to provide better care for her patients.
Elizabeth is also a graduate of Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, GA, and The University of Missouri in Kansas City, MO, where she received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music in Violin Performance. She lives in Athens with her husband and five children. They are members of Faith Presbyterian Church where they enjoy serving on the music team and participating in various church activities. Elizabeth’s interests include spending time with her family, music, being creative, traveling, working out, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
